Etiquette for all Company Classes
Respect for your Instructors:
Your instructors deserve to be treated with respect.
Respect is shown when students are quiet and ready to learn in the classroom.
Talking during class has a zero tolerance policy.
Punctuality/Attitude
You must arrive to class on time and ready to dance.
You should enter each class with a positive, motivated, and ready to learn attitude.
Absences
Students are expected to make up any class time that they miss.
If a student misses 1-3 classes prior to their next competition or performance, they could be withdrawn from dancing that routine on stage (at teacher’s discretion).
If attendance goes beyond 5 absences per class you may not be considered for Company the following season.
A student is not allowed to miss more than 3 ballet classes unless it is for competition or LFAS shows. Anything beyond three must be made up. Classes can be made up in any level, even a younger class acting as the assistant.
