Tara Jean Popowich

Born and raised in Lethbridge Alberta, Tara-Jean began her training at Joy's Dance Factory, a ballet based studio where Tara-Jean said formed her into a strong technical dancer. At age 15 she traveled to Toronto Ontario to work with Annie woods. During her time in Toronto she appeared on "Much Music's" MTV . One year later she then moved to Calgary Alberta to train at Airborne Dance. Cyndi Scott taught her "It’s not the technique that makes a dancer its there passion". Recently Tara-Jean moved to Vancouver B.C to be apart of the Source Dance Company with Joanne Pesusich. Joanne has been the biggest inspiration in her life quotes Tara. Affiliated with the Source Dance company, in March 2007 Tara-Jean opened her own dance company called "Velocity".
