Solo/Duo/Trio Showcase 2017
Sun Jan 22 at LFAS
The solo/duo/trio showcase is a great opportunity for our students to perform their routines on stage. We will have a panel of judges/teachers to offer written adjudications to help iron out any last minute details and to offer helpful feedback before the competition season starts.
The registration forms are available at reception; please fill out with the routines you will be signing up to perform. The solo fee is $25/each and duos/trios are $15/per person. Once registration is received with payment at reception, you may then schedule your routines in the 3 minute time slots. The sign up sheet will be at the reception desk. Be sure to leave yourself enough time in between routines, if you are doing more than one. Please keep in mind that these are TENTATIVE times, as we may need to adjust if there are any blank spots after the deadline. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday January 17th. Please get your registrations in early, as we have limited number of time slots available.
Students are required to bring their music on CD, labeled with start & end on or off and their first and last name. Music must be handed in at the top of the stairs inside the theatre, a half an hour prior to their scheduled dance time. Their CD's will ultimately be their competition CD's, so ensure they're properly labeled.
Attention A1/2/3 Company Students:
We are looking for three writers per session to volunteer their time to help our adjudicators. This is a great opportunity to train for any future jobs as writers at local competitions. This also could be used towards any volunteer hours you need to provide for high school graduation - we will sign any documentation indicating your volunteer hours. We are looking for three writers for each of the following sessions: 1:00-3:18 & 3:45-6:00.
Please note that your are expected to write for the entire session you sign up for - you can't dance in the session you are writing for. If you are interested in writing, please come to reception to sign up or email. First come, first serve!
