Krystin Clarke

Guest Choreography

Krystin Clarke is a multi-disciplinary artist, dancer, and choreographer who resides in Vancouver, BC. Krystin has been studying dance since the age of 3, starting in Central Alberta. She has trained in RAD and Cecchetti ballet methods, as well as the ADAPT jazz syllabus. She also has extensive experience in modern, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and voice, and whenever possible trains in various styles of ballroom, street and international dance styles.

Krystin has performed with several modern dance companies, including a recent appearance with Sweett Moves in Vancouver. Krystin has also worked with Feets Festival (Edmonton, AB), The Edmonton Fringe Festival, and Small Stage (Vancouver, BC).

Krystin holds a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alberta and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Her education and experience building and designing props and sets for dance, has led to an exciting career in the art department for film and television productions.

Krystin has been a dance teacher and choreographer for over 22 years. She was the sole ballet choreographer for Team Canada BC at the 2019 IDO World Ballet and Jazz Championships in Poland. Her choreography has been recognized at competitions Canada-wide. Krystin teaches master classes and organizes several successful workshops in Vancouver. She has been invited as a guest teacher to numerous studios across Western Canada, including Harbour Dance in Vancouver. Many of Krystin’s students have continued on to become professional dancers across Canada and internationally.

Krystin is currently teaching dance in Vancouver, where she continues to mentor both children and professionals. She prides herself in finding and fostering each dancer’s unique abilities.
